To date, Peru has been my most memorable and favourite trip and I talk about it in more detail in my other blogs (see the Peru page to read these). I travelled alone from London but chose to join a group tour with G Adventures meeting my other tour mates in Lima.

I spent twenty-two amazing days travelling through the southern regions of Peru. Starting in its colonial capital, Lima, I made my way along the coast to Paracas & the Ballestas Islands, through the desert to Nazca and then up into the Andes to the Colca Canyon, Puno, Lake Titicaca & Cusco. From there I embarked on my 4-day trek along the Inca trail to Machu Picchu, ending the trip with 3-days in the Amazon Rainforest staying in the Tambopata National Reserve.

I’ve made a short vlog of the highlights of my trip. For full details on my trip and recommendations on where and when to go and what to see and do, check out my Peru blogs here.
